Welcome to The New Inn
This sixteenth century coaching house is situated in rural Herefordshire, four miles from the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, ten miles from the Saxon city of Hereford, home of Hereford Cathedral which houses the oldest known map of the world, the Mappa Mundi. Symonds Yat is six miles away making the New Inn an ideal base to discover the beauty of the Wye Valley.

The bar area is very popular with diners but if your tastes are more formal we have an intimate restaurant which seats twenty two and can also be used as a function room. Our extensive beer garden is open all year round and we welcome children! We also Welcome Dogs.
The pub serves food from midday until 2.30pm and 5.00pm till 9.00pm Monday to Saturday and midday until Nine on Sunday. We source our produce locally where we can and use seasonal vegetables. Please take a look at our current menus on our menu page.

This beautiful inn is steeped in history and boasts original inglenook fire places and oak beams and is allegedly haunted by ten different ghosts!
